Jonathan Morris received his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, New Jersey. Before law school, Jonathan worked for the Federal Public Defender’s Office of Trenton, New Jersey as a legal intern. After moving to Florida he went on to attend Barry University School of Law in Orlando where he received his Juris Doctorate, graduating with high honors and third in his class.
During law school, Jonathan worked for the Office of the State Attorney in Osceola County, Florida as a legal intern, at the Supreme Court of Florida as a judicial extern, and Planet Hollywood International as a legal intern. Jonathan also served as a senior editor on the Barry Law Review and was a finalist in the 1L Moot Court Honors Board competition at Barry University.
After passing the bar exam, Jonathan was invited by Chief Judge Craig C. Villanti of the Second District Court of Appeal in Tampa, Florida to speak at the court’s bar induction ceremony for receiving one of the highest scores on the February 2017 bar examination.
Jonathan was admitted to the Florida bar in 2017, prior to joining Lotane & Associates, P.A., Jonathan worked as an Associate Attorney at Planet Hollywood International. He currently practices debt collection and subrogation in the Cocoa, Florida office.
