Stephanie Diaz-Latorre was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
During law school, Stephanie was part of the Summer Exchange Program at the University of Barcelona Faculty of Law where she completed a course in International Law and worked as an intern with the law firm Gay-Vendrell Advocats. While in law school, Stephanie also worked as a law clerk with the Puerto Rico Civil Rights Commission and as an intern with the Office of the Public Defender for the Ninth Judicial Circuit in Kissimmee, Florida. Stephanie was also actively involved in the Pro Bono Justice in Health, the National Law Students Association and the National Women Law Students’ Organization and completed her legal aid clinic in criminal law.
Prior to joining Lotane & Associates, P.A., she worked as an Immigration Attorney in Orlando, Florida. Stephanie currently practices debt collection and subrogation in our Cocoa, Florida office. Stephanie was admitted to the Puerto Rico Bar in 2017 and the Florida Bar in 2020 and is a member in good standing in both jurisdictions.
